The Hug Project.

A Limited urban wear wellbeing collection.

Inspired by Movember, we have created a limited-edition wearable piece that brings gentle attention to mental wellbeing. A small reminder that care is not seasonal or exclusive. It belongs to all of us.

The T-shirt functions as a design object that carries a message of self-kindness: “Did you hug yourself today?”

For the wearer it becomes a quiet reminder of self-care.

For the observer it becomes a visual prompt that invites reflection and connection.

Rooted in MĪNIMUC’s ongoing research into design as care, the Hug Project moves gently into everyday routines and becomes a soft invitation to care for yourself and for others.

Your purchase creates a ripple. Five euros from every Hug Project T-shirt will be donated to support a mental health initiative in Eindhoven.

New Collection: Tanā

Our new collection is out!

Tanā is a family of sculptural trays designed as a quiet foundation for the everyday. Rooted in minimal form and versatile function, each piece features a distinctive T-foot structure. A subtle architectural element that lifts each platform and defines its character.

The name Tanā, meaning ‘shelf ’ in Japanese, reflects the collection’s purpose: to hold space for objects, gestures, and moments of sharing.

Handcrafted in small batches in Eindhoven, the first edition celebrates local hands, wood, exposed joinery, and the tactile simplicity of well-made things.

From managing all your Hug Project orders, to our business training, non stop meetings, two new commissions in Eindhoven, our first delivery for FON project in Friesland, entering the next phase in NH project in Amsterdam, finalizing the last details for an attic bedroom, in Waalre, the Christmas studio prep, and the final touches for the second Can’t Wait to Eat event..

It’s a true balancing act.
But a beautiful one.

Meet The Hug Project, our limited urban ware wellbeing collection. Inspired by Movember, we designed a minimal T-shirt that expands the theme into a universal act of self-kindness.

Silk printed with the quote “Did you hug yourself today?”, it becomes a reminder of self-love for the one who wears it, and an invitation to reflect and offer themselves the same tenderness for the one who sees it worn.

But support does not stop here.€5 per T-shirt goes to a local mental health organisation in Eindhoven, helping create more spaces for healing. Stay tuned as we announce our trusted partner very soon.

This is our take on meaningful acts that reach far beyond seasonal sales.The Hug Project is rooted in our ongoing research into design as care, bringing quiet gestures of self-kindness into daily life.

A warm thank you to @dianaovezea and @blast_foundry for transforming my handwriting into a typeface and guiding the visual voice of this project. And a heartfelt thank you to Leo for the generous feedback loops, the feasibility control and the thoughtful management of our small production.
